About This Plan

Who can buy this plan?

It is mandatory to obtain a Class II DSC in the following cases: -

  1. E-filing of income tax returns in case of registered trust, partnership firm, companies, any other entity or individual who is supposed to get tax audit under the Income Tax Act.
  2. Company filings that are done with MCA21.

Digital Signature is mandatory for the following, as per MCA

  3. Company Secretaries - Whether in practice or in job
  4. Bank Officials - for Registration and Satisfaction of Charges
  5. Other Authorized Signatories

What are the various types of digital signature certificates?

Basically, there are three types of DSCs and they are as follows: -

  1. Class I type used only for the purpose of securing email communication
  2. Class II type is used by the Company or LLP Incorporation for IT Return E-Filing, obtaining DIN or DPIN and filing other forms with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Income Tax Department
  3. Class III type is generally used for E-Tendering and for participating in E-Auctions

Generally, for business compliance, Class II digital signature certificates are used.

What is the validity of DSC?

DSC usually expires after one or two years, under this plan you will get the DSC which has a validity of two years.

Where will I receive my DSC?

You will receive the DSC on your Indian address. If you wish to send it somewhere outside India, then you will have to pay some extra charges on the actuals.
