Forgot your password?
There are many times when we do not remember the password to a portal or we are not able to find where we have scribbled down the password. In such cases, there are options for registered individuals to retrieve access to one’s account by simply following a few, simple steps.
If you have forgotten the password for your All India ITR account, then you can easily reset it instantly by applying the password reset methods. To reset the password, you simply need your registered email ID or the registered mobile number.
How to reset your password via a registered email ID:
- Go to the sign in page and click on the “Forgot Password?” option link.
- You will be redirected to a different page.
- In this screen, click the dropdown, select the “Email Id” option from the list and enter your registered email ID which has been linked with the registered All India ITR account.
- Click on “Send” and a reset password link will be sent to your registered email ID.
- Go to your email account and open it. You will receive a message from All India ITR regarding the request for change of password.
- Open the mail and click on the link given, which will redirect you to the “Update your password” screen of All India ITR portal.
- Enter your new password and confirm the password by re-entering it. Your password should be at least 7 characters long to ensure safety from hackers.
- Click on “Submit” and your password will be successfully changed.
- Lastly, try to log in with your new password.
- If there is any technical error, wait for 10 minutes and follow through the steps again.
How to reset your password via a registered Mobile Number:
- Go to the sign in page and click on the “Forgot Password?” option link.
- You will be redirected to a different page.
- In this screen, click the dropdown, select the “Mobile Number” option from the list and enter your registered mobile number which has been linked with the registered All India ITR account.
- Click on “Send” and soon you will receive an OTP on your mobile number via SMS.
- Enter that OTP in the given field.
- Type in your new password and re-enter the same in the given field. Your password should be at least 7 characters long to ensure safety from hackers.
- Click on “Submit” and your password will be successfully changed.
- Try to log into your account with your new password.
