Important Due Dates to Deposit TDS

Under Section 194A, the due date to deposit your Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) for the immovable property has been increased from 7 days to 30 days from the end of the month in which the deduction was made.

Q. What is TDS?
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) is a system of tax deduction where the tax is deducted at the point of income generation. It is generally deducted by the employer/payer and is remitted to the government on behalf of the employee/payee.
Q. What is the minimum amount at which TDS is not deducted?
